In Memory Donations

Losing a loved one is a time of great sorrow. It can also be an occasion to celebrate their life and to reflect on the things that mattered most to them. Calibre's members frequently tell us what a difference our service makes to their lives and we sometimes receive donations made in memory of loved ones who have themselves asked for donations to Calibre instead of flowers at their funeral. On other occasions the next of kin has made the decision that donations to Calibre are a fitting memorial.

Giving a donation in memory is a touching, practical and very special way of celebrating someone’s life because it remembers the causes that were dear to them. Every gift acts as a tribute and a contribution to help Calibre's service continue.

All donations in memory are greatly appreciated by Calibre.

Gift Envelopes

Calibre offers donation envelopes which can be used by funeral directors, close friends or family members. Each envelope includes a gift aid declaration to make contributions go even further.

Roll of Honour

Calibre has a Book of Remembrance situated in the foyer of our library in Aylesbury. Here we pay tribute to members and supporters who have left a gift to Calibre in their will and to people who have had gifts made in their memory. Each entry is hand-written and every working day the page is turned.
