How to join
It's really easy to become a Calibre member and start enjoying our audio books within a week of your application.
You can:

contact us for a printed copy of the application form and notes

print off the PDF version of the application form on your own computer, complete and sign it, and send it to us by post along with your joining fee

copy the Word version to your own computer, complete it, then print it off, sign it and post it to us along with your joining fee
There is a single payment joining fee of £35 (£20 for Young Calibre). Thereafter, we do not charge any subscription and there are no fines for lost, late or damaged books - anything you contribute is a purely voluntary donation.
Please note we cannot accept applications by email as we require a signature on the form.
We have separate application forms for adults and under-16s.

Once we receive your completed application it usually takes two or three days for us to process it and send your first books. We also send an audio guide on how to use the service so that you get the best out of it.
The application notes above explain how you can choose the kind of books you want to read or you can read our web page, which also explains how to order catalogues.

Yahoo discussion group
One of our members has set up an email discussion group about Calibre. It enables Calibre members to discuss the books they are reading and everything to do with Calibre's services.
