Chairman Martin Findlay retires

1 February 2012

Martin Findlay has retired after nearly eight years as Chairman of Calibre Audio Library.

Martin says he has spent a very enjoyable and rewarding time at Calibre. He is particularly proud of bringing together trustees with a wide range of skills that support the management team. On a personal note, he’s pleased that he has been able to keep up with the technological changes during his tenure at Calibre.

However his link with Calibre will continue: he is going to become Calibre’s first trustee Legacy Champion, encouraging people to leave legacies in their wills. With more leisure time he is also looking forward to moving on to new ventures which he can take an interest in and support. He can also indulge in his hobbies of fly-fishing, bird watching and walking.

Martin says: “ I would like to say thank-you to everyone in Calibre I’ve come across. It’s been a wonderful organization to work in, there’s a constant welcome and a lovely feeling of everyone working together “.

You will be able to hear an interview with Martin in the Spring 2012 Calibre Echo newsletter.
