Services for organisations
We support local societies, social services departments and rehabilitation services for visually impaired people, and publicly-funded libraries.

We offer:
- two twice-yearly newsletters - download the most recent ones below
- training workshops on Calibre's services
- support for book groups - click here for details
- posters and leaflets about our service
- attendance at events and exhibitions.
Newsletters spring 2010 - read Young Calibre news here and the main news items here.
For libraries we also offer loans via the inter library loans system. The Bee Aware scheme is an initiative to encourage loans of alternative format material via the inter library loans system - full details of the Bee Aware scheme are on the Libraries North West website at http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/nwlinterlending
We can sometimes provide information to support your work. For example, we have compiled a list of sources of Audio books and talking newspapers in other languages. This is a new version (February 2010) of this fact sheet.
