Synopsis

In 1760 an audience awaits the arrival of the new Queen for a royal ceremony when suddenly a man tumbles to his death; the only witness - a blind man. So apothecary John Rawlings, who is accompanying a friend, finds himself drawn into a very puzzling mystery.
