What's in the library
Our junior library has audio books for visually impaired or physically disabled children and young people up to 16, with over 1,000 titles to choose from. Adults are welcome to borrow these books too - and many do, whether to keep up with children in the family or just because children's literature is often supremely enjoyable.
To make it easier for you to choose books, we have organised them into educational key stages - and for readers unfamiliar with these, we give a rough age guide.
- Key stage 1 - up to 7 years
- Key stage 2 - ages 8 - 11 years
- Key stage 3 - ages 12 - 14 years
- Key stage 4 - ages 14 - 16 years
